TOP LUXURY NY WEDDING VENUES I’M DYING TO WORK AT

At EverBe Creatives, we believe your venue is the heartbeat of your wedding. Sometimes you begin with a feeling — an atmosphere you want your guests to step into — and the venue becomes the amplifier of that vision. Other times, the venue itself becomes the anchor, shaping the entire experience from the ground up. Either way, the spaces you choose should carry soul. Not just a place to host an event, but a place that actively shapes it. And if there’s one region filled with those rare, character-rich spaces, it’s Upstate New York. I love Upstate — it’s easily one of my favorite places to travel to.

So here are the venues I’m dying to design for…

01.

Wildflower Farms, Auberge Resorts

A whisper of minimalist elegance meeting wild, untamed nature. Wildflower Farms has this quiet confidence — Scandinavian-inspired architecture, soft, natural textures, and a vibe that’s equal parts refined and raw.

  • What draws me in: A neutral, nature-led palette. Vast open meadows. Interiors that feel deeply intentional.

02.

Blue Hill at Stone Barns

Stone, wood, heritage — this place feels rooted, yet effortlessly elegant. Blue Hill brings the grounded beauty of countryside charm, with the elevated sophistication of legacy architecture and thoughtful design.

  • What draws me in: Timeless stonework. Lush farmland scenery. A setting that feels like stepping back into something classic and romantic.

03.

The Maker Hotel

Art. Texture. Depth. The Maker is moody, soulful — a space that feels layered, lived-in, and unique. I remember visiting about four years ago and being completely captivated. Every room whispered stories; every corner felt like a photo waiting to happen.

  • What draws me in: Rich interiors infused with vintage charm and artisanal touches. Unexpected corners that photograph like cinema stills. A beautiful romantic escape.

04.

Cedar Lakes Estate

Escape. Calm. Seclusion. Cedar Lakes Estate feels like a secret retreat — luxurious, natural, and free from outside eyes. A place where time slows, and every moment feels intentional.

  • What draws me in: Lakeside serenity. Lodge meets refined luxury cabin-feel architecture—a sense of complete exclusivity.

05.

Gather Greene

Clean lines. Calm fields. Open sky. Gather Greene is minimalism at its most thoughtful — a blank canvas, ready for something extraordinary.

  • What draws me in: Simple cabin-style architecture. Endless natural views. A sense of calm and quiet magnitude.

06.

Shou Sugi Ban House

Serenity meets intentional luxury. This Japanese-inspired retreat brings a sense of calm, mindfulness, and refined taste to each event.

  • What draws me in: Minimalist architecture. Warm, neutral palettes. A feeling of peace and subtle elegance.

07.

Inness

Rustic, modern, soft — Inness strikes a balance between design-forward sensibility and natural ease. It’s warm woods, open spaces, and a simplicity that doesn’t compromise on luxury.

  • What draws me in: Thoughtful architecture. Versatile indoor/outdoor settings. A space that elevates subtle details without shouting. The nature and grounds-absolutely beautiful.

Why These Venues Speak to Me — and to EverBe Couples

EverBe isn’t about cookie-cutter weddings. We don’t believe in the “one-size-fits-all” approach. These venues shine because they’re not generic. They have design, soul, and intention. They give couples a space to tell their story in a way that’s deeply personal and unique to them. They’re for lovers who care about atmosphere, authenticity, and what it feels like — not just what it looks like.

Upstate New York is a treasure trove of these venues. Untapped, understated, and full of potential for the kind of weddings EverBe thrives on: intentional, non-traditional, artful, and unforgettable. Because at the end of the day, a wedding isn’t just an event. It’s an experience. And when you choose a space that’s ready to reflect you, the rest becomes effortless.

If you’re dreaming of a New York wedding that breaks the mold, that feels like you — I’m here to make that story come alive.
